📖 Complete Setup Guide
New to Streamer.bot?
This overlay requires the Streamer.bot desktop app to read your live chat. You can download the official client for free from streamer.bot/downloads.
1
Connect Your Channel
Open Streamer.bot and navigate to the Platforms tab. Select your streaming platform (Twitch, YouTube, or Kick), go to the Accounts tab, and log in to connect your Broadcaster account so the bot can read your chat.
2
Configure Streamer.bot WebSocket
Next, navigate to the Servers/Clients tab. Click on WebSocket Server. Ensure the host is set to ws://127.0.0.1:8080/ and the server status shows as running. Check "Auto Start" so you don't have to launch it manually.
3
Copy Your URL
Adjust the settings in the configuration box above to fit your stream's pacing, then click the orange Generate & Copy URL button.
4
Add to OBS Studio
In your broadcasting software (OBS, Streamlabs, etc.), add a new Browser Source. Paste the copied URL into the URL field. Set the Width to 1920 and Height to 1080. Ensure "Refresh browser when scene becomes active" is checked.
5
Test the Overlay!
Go to your stream chat and type any of the trigger words to test it out: Jai Hind, Happy Independence Day, India, Bharat, Vande Mataram, or simply the 🇮🇳 emoji.
